2022.01.27 02:11 missstar How do you create fast, non-laggy clicks on iPhone / iOS?

Hey, incremental game developer friends!
I've noticed recently that when I'm building in HTML / JS / jQuery, there's consistently an issue with iPhones. Registering a click on an element is slower and not as responsive for Apple users. I'm building some games that need to feel more snappy, and so that lag can be pretty noticeable.
I thought this was related to the 300ms delay that used to be prevalent on mobile devices, but from everything I can read, that shouldn't be an issue any more.
Have other people experienced this too? Is it something you've been able to find ways around?

2022.01.27 02:11 AccomplishedUse2468 [SPOILERS] S4E1 "The Beginning of the End" Symbols

Below is an analysis of the four symbols shown at the start of S4E1 "The Beginning of the End". The symbols are listed in chronological order of the events in the episode.
The Broken Pinata
Directly after the flash-forward car crash scene, Wendy and Marty are seen washing off the flesh and blood of Helen. Still reeling from the shock of witnessing Helen's death, they are provided clothes to attend Omar's party. Although there are no pinata's shown, they are a very common thing at parties. This scene is significant for it solidifies Wendy and Marty's relationship with the Navarro cartel.
Remember, Marty got on the plane headed to Mexico right after Maya tipped him off about the false signed confession. He knew Helen was planning to betray him and was aware he could very well die. Instead, Omar decides to kill Helen, and later on at the party, he praises them for their role in the Laguna Cartel being raided. At this point, Marty and Wendy are in bed deep with Omar.
The fact that the pinata is broken most likely carries no significant meaning, however, we are also introduced to Javi, Omar's nephew. We see him taking control of the conversation and asserting his dominance. During the party, Omar privately pulls Marty and Wendy inside and warns them about Javi and his dangerous ambitions which could result in the death of all of them. So with that in mind one could argue that the broken pinata symbolizes the cracks between Omar and his nephew.
Coffee and Pastry
The second symbol that appears in the episode does so in an almost literal sense. Javi surprises Marty at the casino and then he buys them pastries so they can head to his house where they are greeted by Wendy. This scene is significant because the cartel leaders they have dealt with in the past almost never casually visited the Ozarks. Every time the cartel has been in town it spelled danger for the Byrdes (Camino Del Ray, abduction of Marty, Helen)
Omar has ordered for Marty and Wendy to “launder him” so he can be free to travel freely to and from Mexico and US. He has also warned them about Javi and his plans to overthrow him if he “senses any cracks”. Therefore, Javi’s presence in the Ozarks, along with his plans to stay for a while, bring along a further layer of complication for the Brydes. Now they must carry out the task of negotiating a deal between Omar and the FBI without Javi finding out.
The Hotel Key
In the very beginning of Ozark we see Ruth working as a maid for the Lazy-O Motel. That’s when she steals Marty’s money thus begins the relationships between the Langmores and Byrdes and marks the beginning of Ruth and Marty working together.
Three seasons later she is purchasing the same motel it in cash for her own money laundering scheme. Now tasked with cleaning money for Darlene, this scene is symbolic for two reasons. One it shows how much Ruth has grown since the beginning of the season and two, it galvanizes Ruth’s opposition to the Byrdes.
The Flamingo Floatie
Although never shown in the episode, the floatie most likely refers to one of the last scenes that begins with Wyatt and Three playfully fighting in the Lazy-O pool over a flat floatie . In it Ruth is seen sitting in a chair and watching on.
We see Jonah ride up to them on his bike and tell Ruth that he will launder Darlene’s money for Ruth. This scene is significant because in the same way Ruth solidified her opposition against the Byrdes by partnering with Darlene and Wyatt, Jonah does so by agreeing to work for his parents’ enemy, Darlene, and is a clear line in the sand for where he stands.

2022.01.27 02:11 Scuttle_Butts Car won’t start after replacing valve cover and oil pan gaskets.

2005 Mazda tribute 3.0 I replaced the valve cover and oil pan gaskets, and while I was there, I dropped in new oem plugs and a new oil pressure sensor. After putting everything back together the car didn’t start. I turned it over a few times, read the engines code and found a fault in the fuel system temp sensor. Found that was unplugged, but I still have no luck. I’ve looked up and down the engine bay for loose plugs. I took out a plug, grounded it to the engine and cranked it to find that there’s no spark. Any ideas on where the no spark problem might have originated from? Any ideas are appreciated!
