Meike 6.5mm f/2.0 7artisans 7.5mm F2.8 II TTArtisan 7.5mm F2
I want the look from oldschool skateboard videos. They all cost the same and I have no idea which one to pick. Meike and TT seem better because of F2?
Here's a quick reference of what I look for:

2022.01.19 14:47 Mrmulvaney Can a new employer see if you’ve recently quit/been fired from a job?
I have just been offered a new position, my previous 2 jobs were with large companies and didn’t work out, the first kept taking shifts away from me until I got a second job. By the time they wanted me to work my shifts then conflicted with my second one that was more reliable, they then terminated my employment as I wouldn’t work those shifts after so long with no work.
The second job, after 5 shifts told me I would have to work everyday from Christmas Eve until the second of Jan 1300 - 2200, when I tried to get some changed they told me it was how it was for new starts, so I quit.
I’ve not added either of these positions to my cv or mentioned them when applying for jobs as they were for a few shifts and seems irrelevant.
I’ve just been offered a position with a bank and they are asking for info for back ground checks.
How should I proceed with this? Should I put down those jobs but not use them as references and just state that they weren’t a long term employer so would be unsuitable to give a professional reference? Or should I just use the jobs I’ve held previously long term?

2022.01.19 14:47 BothPainter Got fired from my barber snob for refusing to wash store windows
I’ve been a barber for several years. Started this new jobs a couple of months ago. Things have been slow for me since I’m new. Plus there’s construction being done in the shopping plaza which has affected the amount of walk-ins. Because of all this, when given the option, I chose to be paid salary instead of commission while I build up clientele. It’s only me and the boss working now as Frank, his employee of 11 years left on bad terms a month ago and Rico, his employee of 4 years, left 3 months ago to join another ex employee to start their own business.
Some days are busy but a couple of days ago it was really slow, a Friday where I only had 3 appointments in the books.
Anyway because of the construction the boss moved his stuff to the station closer to mine for a couple of days. He was ready to move it back so he was wiping the dust off his station and cleaning up. That’s when he asked me to go clean the windows. I got quiet and there was no reaction for several seconds so I was visibly annoyed. I got up and did it anyway. I sprayed the window with the glass cleaner. He was wiping his mirror with bounty paper towel so I asked him where are they. No answer. I went to the back to get paper towels from the bathroom. He says, “You can’t use those.” I tell him that I asked him where are the bounty. “I told you they’re right over there.” He says in a rude tone. Meanwhile I’m doing a favor. I don’t say anything I just start wiping down the inside of the window. After a few minutes I finish and throw away the paper towel.
As I head to the back, he says “you’re going to have to do the outside as well.” I say “It’s January. It’s cold. I’m not about to freeze my hands to wipe down windows.” He says “just put a jacket on”. That’s when I snap back “I don’t want to do it”. Quickly he says, “Ok, then take your shit and get out” “no problem!” I was honestly looking for a way out. This guy is a massive dick. I collected my shit and he’s like “why do you have to be such an asshole? I asked you nicely.”
This guy definitely was regretting the situation. Barbers are hard to find and now he’s all alone.
I didn’t say much I just packed up. He starts insulting me “tell me something. Is there something wrong with you?” “Yep I guess there is.” “Yeah there is, right?”
I just wanted the 480 that was owed to me. He opens the book to see how much over earned for those 3 days. Instead of giving me the 480, he pays my like a commission employee and gives me 402. I just take it and leave.
Don’t have your barbers wash your windows. They make you hundreds of dollars a day. Hire a window washer for 5 bucks. Good luck searching months for a new barber and having no days off while you work alone.

2022.01.19 14:47 xShiroto The Problem with PvP Balance - Lack of Outplay Potential
Rather than every weapon being "overpowered" in its nice, every build seems to have its own instant-win mechanic. I believe this is why PvP balance feels so bad at times--instant win mechanics with zero outplay potential.
Note that most of this stems from chain CC.
GA/WH: Feels clunky and terrible after the nerf, but now has insane burst potential. Grav well - stun - flatten - armor breaker - maelstrom is an "I win" button that quickly bursts nearly anyone down. Especially with insatiable perk, getting caught in a grav well is an instant loss, death by chain CC.
Spear: Huge damage, pre-nerf gaxe level of tracking, insane CC, and nearly zero cooldowns. Managable in 1v1, but 2+ and you instantly lose. You will never get to move before you die, death by chain CC.
IG/VG: Scream, ice shower, ice storm root - get hit by one of these and it's GG. With the bugged ice storm damage buff and ice spike quad hit, combined with several roots and slows (not to mention the VG's damage potential), you will instantly lose if caught. Death by CC/magic burst.
SnS: Best stun in the game, best leap in the game, multiple staggers, slows, and innate tankiness. Combined with spear or WH and getting hit by shield bash leads to a long CC chain with no chance to outplay or escape. Death by chain CC.
Rapier: Full grace, dex perk, medium armor, nimble, and hearty allows rapier users to almost always have some kind of dodge or i-frame up. For those unaware: 30 stamina to dodge, users start with 110 stamina and regain 20 stamina from evade (6s cd), allowing the combo of dodge dodge dodge, evade, dodge, riposte, dodge, dodge, evade, etc.. "Never lose," rather than "instant win."
Musket: OPR is a great example. Nothing you can do when you're being smacked from render distance--and you'll never catch them.
Every build having access to an unbeatable mechanic (infinite CC, one-shot burst, infinite kiting) nullifies a lot of the skill and fun in PvP.

2022.01.19 14:47 Mac_DeMarcos_Teeth What if Russia's transistion into Democracy was far more peaceful and stable than in OTL?
In OTL; the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, and became the modern Russian Federation we know today. However, when it collapsed, it caused a lot of comotion, and deaths. There were numerous economic crises, civil wars, and bloodshed during the 1990s.
What if instead, however, the transistion was, somehow, actually far more peaceful? What if instead all the chaos that came from the Soviet collapse didn't happen? How would this Affect Russia, and to any notable extent; the world today?

2022.01.19 14:47 Tacogosa How much will using mythic raid gear limit me in PvP?
Hey so I recently started leading the RBG group for my guild. We're mainly mythic raiders, although I've farmed myself out a full PvP set and upgraded it. Since we're mainly PvE, I'm not setting any gear requirements (besides trinkets) since I don't want to drive off people who might end up liking it but don't have the gear yet. My concern is on how much we'll actually be able to do with this setup, since the times we've pugged people we've gotten people who were pretty pissed we didn't have full pvp gear, and I'm wondering how legitimate this issue is.
Will we still be able to run fine at mid-ish rating (around the 1500 range is where our old run was at) with a mix of pve and pvp gear? Or is having at least full honor gear going to be a significant difference?

2022.01.19 14:47 JoeGentileESQ A Humble Brag...
It's the whistleblowers here that deserve the bulk of the credit for this result. That said, this is a wonderful example of what cases brought on behalf of whistleblowers under the False Claims Act can accomplish when the stars align proplerly. I'm proud to have played a small role in this.
We represented one of the whistleblowers in the government’s historic $1.4 billion recovery against Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC.
The case, which included multiple filings over several years, involved the marketing of Reckitt’s opioid addiction treatment drug Suboxone – which is used by recovering opioid addicts to avoid or reduce withdrawal symptoms while they undergo treatment.
According to the government’s announcement, Reckitt: (a) promoted the sale and use of Suboxone to physicians who were writing prescriptions without any counseling or psychosocial support and for uses that were unsafe, ineffective, and medically unnecessary and that were often diverted for uses that lacked a legitimate medical purpose; (b) promoted the sale or use of Suboxone Film to physicians and state Medicaid agencies using false and misleading claims that Suboxone Film was less susceptible to diversion and abuse than other buprenorphine products and that Suboxone Film was less susceptible to accidental pediatric exposure than tablets; and (c) submitted a petition to the Food and Drug Administration on Sept. 25, 2012, claiming that Suboxone Tablet had been discontinued “due to safety concerns” about the tablet formulation of the drug and took other steps to delay the entry of generic competition for Suboxone in order to improperly control pricing of Suboxone, including pricing to federal healthcare programs.
The resolution is the largest recovery by the United States in a case concerning an opioid drug. It includes the forfeiture of proceeds totaling $647 million, civil settlements with the federal government and the states totaling $700 million, and an administrative resolution with the Federal Trade Commission for $50 million.
After years of litigation and coordination among numerous federal and state agencies, Reckitt agreed to pay what is now the largest opioid-related payment in US history. This historic recovery could not have been possible without our client and other whistleblowers, who risked their livelihood and professional career to bring this wrongdoing to light.
The announcement of the settlement by the U.S. Department of Justice can be viewed here.
A copy of the Settlement Agreement can be downloaded by clicking here.
