Lol I obviously trigger people but they ll swear up and down they are unbothered. Its like when someone says "I don't care" but they really do. Women have all rights and privilege and still complain. Men ain't shii we are the scum of the world and why everything is in chaos (lol hehe), Slavery was fake, your mom is a hermaphrodite. Your dad is John Cena. If you whiteee you like tongue kissing your dogs and pets. If you blacxkk you like chicken n u like dancing with it in your hand. Y'all be killing it too. The LGBT community are feminism and women jr's. Alot of people gone go there just to get the freedoms they wouldn't get as a man and especially as a black person..

It’s showing up on my Ticketmaster app as cancelled. I’m just confused because nothing was announced on his social media and I’ve already had one concert cancel already and would hate for this one to be cancelled as well.

2022.01.18 19:38 _need_someadvice_ Should I mention during a job interview that I've already given notice to my current employer?

Hey y'all. I submitted my formal resignation to my current job last week, and I will be leaving at the end of the month. I quite without having another job lined up because this position is absolutely ruining my mental health and I have substantial savings and a support system to help me during a job search. Yes, I realize this was a risky decision, but it's done.
I submitted a bunch of job applications over the holidays because I knew that I wanted to leave my current role. I had a phone interview last week that went very well and I have a Zoom interview tomorrow. I wouldn't plan on mentioning that I already quite my job, except that I think my end date at my current organization will likely show up if they give me an offer and do an employment verification. I think it's likely the process would not wrap up before the end of the month (i.e. when I leave my job) since there would be at least one more interview after the one tomorrow. Maybe if they ask about my availability, I can say that I'm leaving my current job at the end of the month and could therefore start any time in February? If they want details, I'd probably tell the truth: my current position is not a good fit and I want to commit 100% of my time to looking for something better.
Obviously, I'm worried they might not like that I've already resigned from my job. I certainly don't want to give the impression that I assumed I'm a shoe-in for their position. I had given my informal resignation before even being offered a phone interview.
So, any advice on how to handle this issue? Would it look bad if I don't mention anything and they see during an employment check that I just quit?

2022.01.18 19:38 jakjak9 Type me please (did the questionnaire)

I originally posted this in enneagramtypeme but I thought I may as well cover all the bases.
• How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.
30M. I never know how to answer these questions. A lot of information comes to mind, but I don't know what to include to make it accurate. A lot of people who know me well would probably describe me as unique.
• Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow?
Not really, although I occasionally struggle with depression.
• Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?
It was a safe, fairly normal upbringing. Nothing abusive or traumatic. I grew up in a fairly conservative, Christian household; only child. The only thing that was "off" had to do with romantic relationships. Oddly enough, it had nothing directly to do with religion. From a very young age (as long as I can remember) I've had an intense interest in sex and relationships, but I always felt I had to hide that growing up. My mother always gave the impression that sex is icky and you're better off single. My father is a stereotypical ESTJ, and there was always distance between us, and I never felt safe revealing potentially vulnerable aspects of myself to him. If any "weakness" was shown to him, he would try to control it and make "better."
• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?
I work in retail, hate it. I dislike having to work to make ends meet in general. I'd rather focus on things I enjoy. However, if I did something I enjoy for work, I would eventually hate it. Forcing myself to do something I like takes the joy out of it.
• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
Refreshed. It's how I spend most weekends. I don't mind going out, but I need my days to do nothing.
• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?
I exercise, but I mostly do that to look good and feel good. I played team sports as a kid, and I still enjoy them, but I don't have any special drive to do them. I have a slight preference for indoor activities.
• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
I am very curious. I'm curious about how things work, especially people. I also love random facts and trivia. Anything unusual always catches my interest. If I find a topic especially interesting, I want to know everything about it. Ideas that I can't execute bore me, so I carry out a lot of my ideas. My ideas are probably a little more environmental. I like to mess with stuff. I like to see what happens when I try things.
• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
Yes, I naturally take the lead on things. I guess I'm kind of 'soft authoritarian.' I'm very open to input and different ideas, but I like to have the final say and choose the direction. I can be very direct about telling others what to do.
• Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?
Yesn't? I have good reflexes, but when I try to be coordinated, I become awkward and stiff. I don't really like working with my hands. I prefer things that require 'broad strokes' over fine detail.
• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
Somewhat. I used to draw a lot, and I'm really interested in the human form. I didn't have the patience to really apply myself, though. I like expressive art. I love impressionist art. I don't get things like photorealism. To me, that's more of a technical exercise. Form and color are important to me.
• What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
This is a hard one for me to answer. I think they're all important, and I kind of feel like they're all happening at once, like some kind of intertwined web of cause and effect. I almost feel like a spider moving across that web.
• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
I'm usually open to helping. I often assume people only ask for help if they need it, so I'm willing to provide it.
• Do you need logical consistency in your life?
I'd say I need logical accuracy. I need the things I know and believe to be accurate and true, so I guess consistency would be a byproduct of that.
• How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
Somewhat. If there's something that needs to be done, I want to get it done quickly and move on. But "being productive" is generally not something I care about.
• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?
I can get pretty bossy, especially when something needs to get done. Outside of that, I don't try to control others. Control their attention, maybe. I'm more interested in seeing their reactions than controlling their actions.
• What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
I like video games, but I don't play them as often as I used to. I usually like RPGs. I like strategizing.
Music is huge for me. Listening, playing, writing. I think music is something truly special. Music can express even the most complex emotions in just a few seconds. I think it's the purest form of emotional expression.
• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
I always hated school. I prefer to learn what I want to learn when I want to learn it. I do best when I'm able to immediately apply what I learn. I learn a lot by doing.
• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?
I'm good at it. I'm not a master strategist by any means, but I like coming up with a plan and putting into action. I'm comfortable improvising, but I prefer to plan. I can break down big projects into little ones easily.
• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?
Professionally, to retire. I want to get work out of the way. Personally, to find The One. I want a partner in life. Someone to enjoy it with.
• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
I fear that I will never really get what I want, especially romantically. Or if I do, it will be ripped away from me. In the Lifetrap test, Defectiveness was my highest result, followed by Emtional Deprivation and Social Exclusion. Waiting with no end in sight makes me uncomfortable. I'm pretty impatient. There's lots of things I hate, but giving up is really high on the list. I hate giving up and admitting I can't do something or that someone did it better. I also hate it when others give up at the first sign of difficulty.
• What do the "highs" in your life look like?
I am happy and content, surrounded by my favorite people, doing things I enjoy.
• What do the "lows" in your life look like?
Very deep depression. Seeing no reason to go on or even exist, because everything I hope to get out of life will never happen.
• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
I have a weird relationship with reality. On the one hand, my mind can and will wonder and I will lose track of things that are literally in my hand. On the other hand, most of the things I want can only come from the real world, and I can be hyperobservant and notice things others miss.
• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
Escape, followed by backup plans. If escape is impossible, then I will use my imagination to make it bearable.
• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
Depends on the decision, but more important decisions take longer. I'm not indecisive, though, and I will make a decision and stick to it.
• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
I never stop processing my emotions. Even though I can easily hide what I'm feeling, they are very important to me. One of the easiest ways to trigger my temper is tell me what I should be feeling. I will decide what I'm feeling, not you.
• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
Sometimes, not often. Usually only when I think there's no more reason to argue because you're being stupid. Like the guy who argued with me that the iPhone 13 case wouldn't fit his iPhone 13. At that point it's like, fine, hold on to your ignorance, but stop wasting my time.
• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?
If the rule doesn't make sense and gets in the way of what I need to do, then I break it. But most of the time I figure rules are there for a reason, so I don't break them. The matter of authority doesn't even enter my mind.
I will be amazed if anyone actually reads this far. Thanks, though, if you did.

2022.01.18 19:37 IXBlackHeartXI36 What is the most powerful telescope that could feasibly be built?

I've heard that the James Webb Telescope will be able to image the atmospheres of (relatively) nearby exoplanets. I've never heard of this being possible before. This got me thinking: what limit is there to what a telescope could perceive? I read something about a hypothetical scenario where one use a telescope 70 million lightyears away to see dinosaurs. Supposedly the aperture of this scope would be literal lightyears across, so that wouldn't actually work.
I wasn't thinking about structural integrity though. I was more wondering; how much could you zoom into an object before you couldn't get more resolution? Obviously, if you enlarge a digital photo it'll become blurrier because of the limited resolution. My question is more; what is the resolution of the real world? Assuming you had a space telescope with infinite zoom, what could it see before things became too blurry? Surely there must be a limit in how much you can zoom into something. Only so many photons can fit in a certain space. I would've thought it was impossible to get any real images of exoplanets (other than silhouettes maybe), but this James Webb thing has me now questioning that assumption.
Of course, I know it would depend on what you're looking at and how far away it is. Though thinking about it, would distance really matter in terms of maximum resolution? I mean, the only reason objects further away appear small is because our vision is a cone, but we perceive it as a tunnel, thus distant objects appear shrunk due to them taking up a smaller percentage of our field of view the further they are. Does this mean that all objects of a given size will be made up of the same number of photons no matter how far it is? Basically, if you were in another star system, could a telescope conceivably get as good of an image of Mars as an orbiter above the planet could (ignoring the fact that such a telescope would probably have to be impossibly huge to get that type of magnification)?
What is the limit? Surely there has to be one. Does distance make a difference in the potential max? Like I said, ignoring structural integrity could an impossibly powerful scope get as good an image of an object as a more modest one could up close? What's the limit?

2022.01.18 19:37 throwMeAwayPlz37 Target Lock / Multi-Lock

Nen ability: Target Lock Category: Enhancer
Only one opponent can be affected by Target Lock at a time; however, any Nen created objects or entities count as part of the original opponent.
When activated, the user surrounds themselves with a thin layer of En completely around the body. Any attacks, physical or Nen related, from the opponent will activate Ken at the point of impact through the users En. Thus creating a shield or a spear of great magnitude upon contact with the opponent. The amount of aura used in Ken depends on the attack. The smaller the object entering the users En or the smaller the impact area in the case of a punch or kick will result in using less aura for the attack. Conversely, larger objects or attacks will still activate Target Lock and use whatever aura is required to negate the damage or cause a sufficient level of attack.
This ability does not activate if the user is attacked by someone that is not their target (multiple adversaries). They would suffer regular damage from foes not their target.
Nen ability: Multi-Lock Category: Enhancer, Transmuter, Emitter
The user shrouds themselves with a thick envelope of En. As attacks are received, they shave off pieces of the En shield and latch onto the opponent that made the attack until the user activates Multi-Lock. Activation: the En shield dissipates and all remaining aura is focused into the hands and feet. Every punch or kick, whether they hit the opponent or not, provides an additional emitted blast of aura that homes in all enemies affected by Multi-Lock. One punch/kick can send out up to 50 emitted attacks at once. The ability does not deactivate until the user runs out of aura or the opponent exceeds a range of 500 meters.

2022.01.18 19:37 YeetmongerExtra Lucy's Diary, Page 14

Dear Diary,
Today I went to Olympia Military Base for the first time. There was a giant metal tower near the intersection of the road and the path to the base. It was at least nine stories tall! There were a few other small metal house things there as well. Generic pop music was playing out of the tower and a few of the buildings. The whole area had this creepy abandoned feeling to it.
When I asked Hyperion about it, he explained that it belonged to a group of jocks. They were casually mean, got a laugh out of making fun of people, et cetera. I say were because one day a while back, they went into their stronghold and never came out. Nobody knows what happened to them, or how to get into their base. Nobody knows if they’re even still alive. But the radio, droning on with no need for power, is the only sound that comes out of there.
Wow. Gave myself the heebie jeebies writing that last bit.
