Now i have that same feeling , i faced when i was on initial days (1-2months) that same energy, Maybe because of that fact that i overcame a flatline , so now it's been close to 2 weeks I'm sleep deprived, This Extra Energy man, im trying so hard to exhaust, and i do get exhausted but , after going to bed it's hard to sleep , i wake up after 2-3 hrs , then again i cant sleep , If i relapse , this insomnia would be the biggest reason , I'm trying hard not to but idk man , my brain just constantly thinking that maybe after relapse I'll be able to sleep , and the urges after flatline , bro that's something next level to deal with because after flatline almost every super power which i had lost , is back , like this f*king energy to do any impossible shit after just 4hrs of sleep , that focus , creativity,

But the only problem, maybe the biggest one is this insomnia because, for me sleep is really important,
Does someone who crossed one year mark of nofap still got Insomnia, if so what are you doing man , it's hard no to relapse.

2022.01.28 03:01 itsrainingmeh Does the Steam season pass in Strive get cheaper if I buy a part of it as a DLC?

Iirc some DLC bundles gets cheaper if you already bought a part of the DLC but some doesn't. So does this games season pass get cheaper if I buy some separately? So far my basis on buying is if I like 3 of the 5 characters I would buy the whole season pass. But currently I like only two of them.

I live abroad and when the "care pack" arrives from home its chock full of candy and other local assortments that I miss from home. Great for someone who can control themselves but when you suffer like I do it's pretty sad to find yourself binging through a box of candy like that. Anyone else experienced that? 2022.01.28 03:01 schrodingers-ocelot PSA: Windows Autopilot could interfere with refurbished motherboard replacements or maybe even refurb/used hardware purchases

Hi dell!
I recently had a really strange problem with my laptop, and while I knew what was going on and what was needed to fix it, I imagine it's not common knowledge. This could affect any system where repairs are done and a refurbished motherboard is provided.
Windows Autopilot is a capability Microsoft provides where systems can be automatically provisioned for corporate use.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/autopilot/windows-autopilot
You take a computer, connect it to the internet during initial setup, and if the system has been registered for Autopilot, it automatically configures the system according to the company's standards. Autopilot uses a hardware identity hash, a unique value generated by the OEM that is dependent on a number of factors:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/autopilot/registration-overview
Now, I have an older Precision laptop I use from time to time. It's under a prosupport warranty. A while back it had a power issue that needed a motherboard replacement, so I sent it off to Dell, they replaced the motherboard and all was good. Until I recently tried to do a clean Windows 11 install.
Windows installed just fine, but as soon as I connected it to the internet during setup, it autoconfigured and prompted me to log in with a company email address for a company I'd never heard of. This seemed odd, so I tried to go back to Windows 10. Same thing, and I've seen this before - it was Windows Autopilot's "user-driven" mode.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/autopilot/user-driven
I couldn't back out and create a local login due to the configuration this company had applied.
So, I called support and explained the problem. It took a little explaining but eventually the prosupport team understood the issue, and they set up another motherboard replacement for me.
Naturally, the second replacement motherboard was also registered with Windows Autopilot, but for a different company. So I had to call them back, we had a good laugh over it and they set up a motherboard replacement again.
The third replacement motherboard I received was not registered to anyone's Autopilot, and so I'm back up and running and trying to decide whether or not I like Windows 11.
I suspect this is what happened:

Pretty clear issue. Microsoft actually has a document that clearly explains what to do with systems registered for Autopilot that are getting replacement motherboards:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/autopilot/autopilot-mbr
But clearly this wasn't done by company X (or company Y) in my case.
Few things:
  1. I considered trying to call company X and see if I could get through to their IT department, but assuming I even could, and they believed me, since part of Dell's motherboard replacement process is to assign the system service tag to the motherboard, there's no way for me to tell what system the motherboard came from. So I couldn't tell them "can you please remove system X from your autopilot so I can use my laptop".
  2. I could have skipped the initial internet connection during setup and created a local user account, but that just means the problem would happen again next reinstall/reset (and I was concerned that it could somehow inherit "corporate policy" from company X anyways)
  3. In theory, if the system was registered by a company's IT department, and they regularly prune old entries from their Autopilot, the problem "could" eventually go away, but if it was registered by a reseller it is unlikely they'd ever go back and clear out systems as the above doc outlines
Why does this matter?
It's a weird problem with plenty of opportunity for misunderstanding.
It's the kind of thing likely to be met with rolling eyes and sarcasm when you ask for help.
It could be an issue if:
It's not likely to fix itself.
It can't be fixed by the end user at all, and requires hardware replacement (which is probably only something you'll get if it's under warranty) to fix.
Just to be clear, as I mentioned above: this was a strange issue. If it was a super common occurrence it would be well understood what is going on, and Dell would be on top of it. One of the support agents I spoke with mentioned that it reminded him of something he'd seen once before, same kind of issue, but he couldn't recall all the details. So I'm led to believe that normally they take steps during refurbishing to prevent this from happening, and I was just supremely unlucky and got two in a row where they forgot to do that part.
I wanted to post this in case anyone else happens to run into this after a repair, or even if buying used/refurbished hardware. If you're buying used corporate equipment, check with the seller to make sure it isn't registered to Autopilot. If you do run into this problem, call support and make sure you have proof of ownership, and good luck explaining the issue.
Hope this has been helpful.

2022.01.28 03:01 OfferSensitive862 Secret account for over a year…what should I do?

Found out hubby had a secret, account….for over a year.
Found out he was posting…..interesting….photos on a subreddit (sorry, I’m new here so don’t know the deal with the lingo). Anyway, I asked him outright not long ago and he lied to my face because he knew I would be upset. Today, I asked him again and he admitted it, then said he’s deleted the account now, but he hadn’t. (When I called him out, he did delete it….it took me ages to find it as I’m not familiar with this). Anyway, he’s saying he’s sorry and there is nothing else he can do, and I should just move on. This is triggering to me because I’ve been lied to before & cheated on (not by him). He got me through that (we have been together 10+ years) but now I feel like I’m back to square one. I feel like I’m overreacting. Just want a reality check I guess. (He’s never cheated on me before). Should I forgive him? He thinks that he’s done absolutely nothing wrong.

2022.01.28 03:01 TheChattyMammoth T-Shaped People And Academia

Today's summary: “T-shaped people” are what Bastian Rieck calls people with knowledge in one or more different fields, as opposed to “I-shaped people,” who are experts in one field. In academia, T-shaped people are often looked over by I-shaped people because they seem unfocused or lacking in expertise. This is most visible when looking at a T-shaped person’s record of academic publications versus that of an I-shaped person’s; an I-shaped person often has multiple papers under their belt, while a T-shaped person has comparatively few, presumably because they work on broader projects.
