2022.01.29 05:28 Worried_Bug_9150 Does there a way to see all online friends?

Because constellation is limited, you can’t see all people you add nor the all the friends online. Am i still have to block some to see others? How I can see all online ones?
It cause me problems a lot of times. We are playing, bug happens, go home, can’t find the guy and can’t rejoin… probably the other person I play thinks that I ran away!
If I can see online friends I can join & play with them. It would be good feature!
Also I can’t light people ain’t seen in constellation without trickery. Think somebody else doesn’t see your lights in constellation, you would lost touch. If somebody ain’t available constellation the relationship really ends. Literally game decides your relationships!
Note: you can’t add everyone to favorites!

2022.01.29 05:28 SnooOwls4560 My future living in Pakistan

Alright so till now my parents have spent millions of rupees on my education. I've worked hard my whole life and they supported me during tough times too. I'm currently doing my bachelor's degree in computer science. I'm disheartened by Pakistan's economic condition with all the shit that's happening. I really wanna leave Pakistan as soon as possible so i can pursue my dreams but part of me doesn't wanna leave this country. I love this country so much but i don't think i have a future staying here. My friend who graduated from FAST university with 3.5 GPA is now working a job at a software house and his salary is just 25,000rs. per month. He will have to work years just so he can get to a decent position with a good salary and that still won't be enough for a person that skilled. I don't even think i can recover the amount of money spent on my education by working a job here. This is truly sad. I really want my dad to retire and live the rest of his life peacefully. Tell me what should i do?

2022.01.29 05:28 InkDiamond [PI] “You've heard about ancestral weapons developing legendary abilities. You've just inherited your great-grandmother's cutlery set, and as you touch one of the knives it starts to glow blue...””

“Where do you get off stealing priceless and powerful family heirlooms, you mangy, thieving, no good—”
Ah!” I yelped as I tossed the butter knife away, where it clanged against the stainless-steel kitchen sink. With that, the pale man disappeared from the air. I kept my eye on that space above the sink, but I detected no movement around the wall. I still held my breath for about thirty more seconds, standing in the middle of the kitchen in my gray sweats. When nothing else moved, I accepted that I might be alone again. I definitely needed to take a second look at that note.
I swiped the scrap of yellow notepad paper sitting on the kitchen counter. I scanned for anything I might have missed the first time. The dark blue ink had faded considerably since whenever it was written, but it was still just the same line as before:

Sacrifices were made to secure these knives. Learn each one
I pursed my lips. After I first saw the knives, I’d been preparing to learn some new recipes, but now I was thinking there might be a higher calling, a make-an-old-fashioned-white-guy-appear-in-your-kitchen kind of calling.
I placed the ripped yellow page back on the counter before walking over to the sink and hovering above the suspect. The knife just laid there, playing dead, but I knew it had to be the culprit—the reason that man had appeared.
I extended a hand toward it but paused just before I made contact. I had to touch it again, and not just because Mom would say something when she found an antique knife in the sink. It had glowed when I first touched it, and though there was no exchange of words between us, I had the distinct feeling it was greeting me, as if I were a long-lost friend. If these knives were an important part of my family’s legacy, I wanted in.
I mustered the courage to grab the knife by its bulging blue handle and held the blade at eye level, looking for signs of supernatural activity, like a fleck of light or a whisper that only I could hear.
I wasn’t disappointed. The knife started to glow in my hand, gently warming against my palm. A rapid build-up of ice blue light forced me to squint, then it receded just as quickly, settling on a gem-like sheen.
“—duplicitous girl?! You and your perilously sticky fingers threaten the very existence of this planet!”
The pale man was back, floating above the sink. He must have been some sort of ghost. I could see right through him, and his entire body and old-timey outfit had a bluish tint to them.
“Do you hear me, girl?” He glared at me through circular glasses. After a moment of silence, it became clear he was waiting for me to speak. I’d been half distracted by the manifestation of a ghost in my kitchen and half distracted by his massive trapezoidal mustache bouncing up and down with every word blasted out of his mouth. I scrambled to put together a response.
“Well I, um… Um… I guess, first off, who are—”
“—Complete gibberish!” His eyes widened like saucers, and I clamped my mouth shut, not wanting to upset him further. “And unworthy to be holding a member of the Set! I certainly won’t be teaching you anything. No, I will not!
A single gnat whizzed its way toward his slick, curtained hair, which was enough for him to take his attention off me. He eyed the insect as he tipped his head out of the way, not losing sight of it until it had cleared his personal space. Then he turned back to me. “And a squalid hideout to boot! Just what I’d expect from a thief and a low-life.”
It was my turn for saucer eyes. “Uh, excuse me? You just met me. Or really, you haven’t even done that!” But he had already abandoned the conversation for a bit of ghostly grooming. He straightened his tie and pulled at the lapels of his jacket. After a surreptitious side-eye to the knife in my right hand, he turned to the other side of the kitchen. Hands behind his back, the ghost began examining every crease of our weathered wooden cabinets. Up to down, right to left. Studying the kitchen like some unsolvable puzzle.
Maybe it was just a ghost thing I needed to let happen. There wasn’t much to see, or at least, that’s what I thought. It was a small, square space where “three’s a crowd” really applied. As his inspection brought him closer to me, I could see an intensifying grimace.
“Good heavens!” He drifted down to a countertop, placing his ghostly wingtips on the hardwood floor. He ran a finger over a leftover spaghetti stain from last night. His finger made no sound as he did so, and when he lifted the finger from the white tile countertop, no smudge appeared to come off onto his finger. Nevertheless, he rubbed his thumb and index fingers together as if he was assessing the consistency of some foreign substance. “Hmph!” he said to himself.
I folded my arms and leaned backward in protest. “I don’t know what you want me to do! No one invited you!”
Always expect company!” he shot back under the jitter of his mustache. As if on cue, the old pipes under the sink gurgled, rattling the mountain of dirty plates on the other side of the sink. The man shook his head at the pile three or four times, and I could only roll my eyes. I didn’t want a lecture right now, I wanted answers. Dirty dishes weren’t the most interesting thing in the room.
“So, who exactly are you?” I lightened my tone as I tried to refocus our conversation and get us off on a better foot. “I’ve never met a ghost before. Are you supposed to tell me how you died or what grudge you had or…”
I couldn’t finish the sentence under the weight of his stare, full of disdain. His eyes traced over my image. I felt he spent a disproportionate amount of time evaluating my curly black hair and brown skin, but I would just pin that for now. When he finished his examination, he stood a little taller and puffed out his chest. “I am not a ghost. I am Sidney Witherworth II, mentor to the next Knife Wielder.”
“Um… Knife Wielder?”
He didn’t like that question, to say the least. A dozen new wrinkles formed on his blueish white forehead as his face twisted into a mixture of confusion and anger, like he’d just watched me punt a baby from here to the living room. I braced for impact.
“Yes, the Knife Wielder! The protector of mankind! You’re telling me you’ve no idea what’s in your possession? The Set is the only thing protecting us from the demons.” He pointed at the boxy wooden chest on the counter, where the remaining four knives of various shapes and sizes laid horizontally against a bright red felt interior. I looked at the glowing knife in my own hand, a slice of my reflection on the blade. I’d heard old family antiques could be attached to the spirits of ancestors, but I hadn’t imagined anything like this. The handle looked a little tacky to be so important. Blue marbling swirled around the polished edge, and over that, gold lines formed a series of overlapping circles across its circumference. I wondered if they contained a hidden meaning.
“And if the Witherworth’s don’t have the knives…” he continued, “oh dear!” He placed a hand on his head, eyebrows hoisted. For the first time, he looked a little vulnerable, a little human.
“Well I’m May. May Johnson. And… I’m sorry to hear that. I just inherited this box from my great-grandmother. I didn’t realize it was so important to, uh, the world, apparently. I thought it was my family’s. But if it’s not then… it’s all yours, I guess.” I extended the knife handle toward him with a reluctant smile. In truth, the thought of losing the knife pained me. I’d never grown so attached to an object so quickly before. Losing it felt like losing one of my own arms. And I didn’t even know what it could do yet.
Fortunately, we got to spend a little more time together. A low rumble filled the small room, like the sound of a lawnmower revving up, only this sound didn’t stop.
“What’s that?” I pulled back the knife and looked toward the pantry door, where the sound seemed to be coming from. I didn’t hear the man—Sidney—say anything, so I turned back to him and found his eyes were glued to the door as well. “What’s that?”
“That, my girl, would be company.” He sighed. “Whoever the thief was, they’ve really done it now. To think this is how it ends.”
The rumble grew a little louder, enough to tickle at my ribs. Sidney didn't sound like he was going to be helpful, so knife in hand, I approached the pantry door, ready to rip this bandage off. I reached for the knob, turned it, and slowly opened the door.
The pantry looked the way it had the last time I saw it. Admiral Cronch on the second shelf, next to those, some potato chips, and next to those, two orbs of yellow light. No—two eyes, staring at me. This was the source of the rumbling, a huge black dog in the middle of the floor, eyes locked on me before I even recognized it.

2022.01.29 05:27 jussyjoe Is there anyone I can ask for financial help after having most of this months UC payment stolen? (England)

I was the victim of a violent street robbery in which I was 'relieved' of £300 that I had withdrawn half an hour before. (yes I know not sensible but that's me.) I think I'm clutching at straws but desperate is the word right now. I owe £87 on a previous advance so no option to apply for another and it seems my local council does not offer any kind of emergency welfare payments or loans. Any thoughts lovely people? It's really quite stressful trying to survive when missing most of a whole months money.
