If I tested positive for Covid do I need to submit a positive test to Sedgwick? Because I have been hearing a lot of people aren’t submitting it recently.

I recently made a purchase for a hoodie using PayPal and it told me “You approved an authorization to on January 20, 2022 for $60.99 USD. has updated the total amount of your transaction. Your new total is $70.13 USD. See below for details.” Is this normal? I bought it and it had free shipping.

2022.01.22 00:18 sage1725 Snow shoes or snow cleats? (Chugach State Park)

Sorry for yet another geasnow post; I haven't been able to find any specific answers anywhere else.
So, I'm planning to be in the Anchorage area mid-March, and I'd like to hike a bit in Chugach State Park. I have decent warm boots, and I'm experienced with hiking in the cold and in winter conditions in the Midwest and Eastern parts of the US, but I don't know enough about the conditions in CSP to know if it'd be better to have snow cleats (the chain kind) or full snow shoes in mid-March. Or maybe some other option?
Thanks in advance for any info or recommendations!

2022.01.22 00:18 lavenderandviolets Want to study family/community herbalism. HELP!

Hi, I've already decided I want to take a herbalism course online, to learn more about how to prepare medicine for my family/friends but also I want to dip my toes in it and see if this is my calling. Ive always been inclined to heal or recommend home/herbal remedies to family and usually heal my kid with herbs/essential oils, etc. But now I would like to gain deeper, serious knowledge and start preparing it myself. Not only that but maybe expanding in the future to a more complex course and being a "professional herbalist" or having a business related to the profession. There's so much info and courses that its hard to navigate. And as I am new to this path, I don't know which of these academies are really respected or not.
I am in between several courses, if you have done any of these or recommend one I didn't name please let me know your experience as much as you can.
- Chestnut School of Herbalism: Making Medicine course
- Commonwealth: Family Herbalist
- The Science and Art of Herbalism by Rosemary Gladstar
- Herbal Academy: Introductory and Intermediate Herbal Course
- The School of Evolutionary Herbalism (but they are not accepting new people yet)
Thank you very much!!

2022.01.22 00:18 jdw207 Just starting out

I’m currently in the process of taking the required courses for my trainee license and really enjoying the process. Wish it could be in person, but I’m glad online was an option due to Covid as otherwise my current job wouldn’t permit it. My biggest concern currently is finding a mentor and making the transition feasible. I’m going to be reaching out locally as I progress in the certification, but wanted to ask if anyone has specific experience in the Durham/Orange County area of NC. Just curious about local insights into appraisal, residential is my thought now, but open to area specific suggestions and career advise. Really appreciate the forum to connect and look forward to joining the community!

2022.01.22 00:18 Still-CryThrowaway Help me get a clue about what's going on with me (not diagnose me, just suggestions what could be going on before I go to a doctor)

Hello! First thing I want to mention is that yes, I plan to go to a professional, I just want to research first bc it helps me be more prepared mentally for a possible diagnosis etc. (it calms me down)
I wanted to ask around if anyone has any ideas what's going on. I recently started having issues with delusions, disassociation, derealization and paranoia, but all of those are not in a severe state as I am aware of them. I "kin" fictional characters, which basically means that I relate to this characters very strongly and I see myself in them. But recently it started getting very intense with a particular character to the point of delusions. I believe I AM this character, when I think about myself I picture this character, I like to say that I am them and if someone were to tell me I'm not or point out differences between me and this character, I get extremely stressed to the point of a panic attack. For example: Knowing I am taller than this character gave me feelings of body dysphoria and I could feel myself being very stressed.
I know it sounds very bad, but it's all in a lighter state where I know that rationally speaking I am not this character as they are fictional and I am alive, but still I have these delusional thoughts often, even though I know it's not true. (for now at least)
I also started having very short episodes where when I focus on my body I feel like it's not mine and that something's wrong, as if I was watching a movie from first perspective or playing a vr game. As I'm writing this right now I don't really feel that I am doing this, like it's someone else and I'm just watching?
I also sometimes disassociate and for some time I forget I have a body, I just don't feel or hear anything outside my head (But this is something I've always been doing, it's just that I'd say it feels different now but I can't explain it)
I'm also sometimes paranoid but I've also had this for a long time.
I also started talking to myself and it's just super negative things directed at me, whenever I start doing it I can feel myself kinda losing control over it.

I started experiencing these things for 2 months now, nothing in my life changed during this time.
Some extra info about me: I'm diagnosed with autism, depression, anxiety
Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I really want to have at least a clue, I won't self-diagnose with anything I just want to know SOMETHING, it's stressing me out and I'm scared of going to a professional without any clues or at least theories so I can be prepared for whatever they say

2022.01.22 00:18 BeachOclock Design career

Hello!
I’m 34, I have my B.A - marketing. I’m trying to get more into design so I’m relearning photoshop and illustrator which I then want to get into after effects. I was going to take a boot camp for front end development but honestly, it was a lot of money for something I’d have to pay for more classes to even get to a hireable level. I was thinking web design/UI design. Is anyone working in this field that could offer suggestions on what I need to do to get my skills to a higher level? I owe A LOT on student loan debt so I’d prefer to not have to take out any loans. Has anyone made a career move like this and what did you do? Thank you for your guidance!

2022.01.22 00:18 Packerbacker1991 Chime $100 Referral Bonus

Chime $100 Referral Bonus Link
You can earn an easy $100 simply by depositing $200+ into your new Chime bank account when you join through my referral. In the fine print it does state it has to be a direct deposit. I can confirm (along with internet searches if you want further confirmation) that it does not need to be a direct deposit from an employer as they make it sound.
You just have to initiate the transfer from an external source such as a bank, cashapp, ect and not from within the Chime app. If done from Chime’s end, it will most likely not qualify as a direct deposit.
