2022.01.22 21:07 Ravioli_hunters How does Rao work?
I'm getting so tired of the aircraft, so I decided to put on AA rockets. But since the lock-on has the range of a nerf gun, they just hit the flares and fly away until they can get them back, since for whatever reason, flares make them immune to the lock on for a long time afterwards. I assumed hacking them would disable the flares, but I don't understand how this works. I hack the aircraft and it says hack complete, but it seems like nothings happening and if I keep holding it, he'll start tapping his wristwatch. Then after that, I still can't get a lock-on. I'm getting fed up with this game.

2022.01.22 21:07 SSC_Noctizo In general, what is the best spellcaster build?
I’m a relatively new player, and I’ve been trying out different classes to sort of get a feel for what I like and what I’m good at. I’ve tried fighter, which I thought was boring, wizard, which I don’t fully understand (why I’m making this post) and bloodhunter, which I thought was a tad confusing. I’m your opinion, what is the best spellcaster build for a new player? Thanks

2022.01.22 21:07 ConnorSPiper Advise for learning capabilities of Eventbrite
I am a high school student and am a member of the Youth Education Council (YEC) of the Western United States Pipeband Association (WUSPBA). We are researching tools that we can use to run our events.
I am interested in how I might find out if Eventbrite can handle our events, which have certain requirements. I went through the Eventbrite create event procedure and associated instructions and could not figure out how I could use Eventbrite to manage the online competition events that we put together.
MY QUESTION: Does anyone have any recommendation as to how I could get that info? Is there a training class that I can take, or online forums for asking detailed questions about using Eventbrite, etc.
In case helpful in getting me going in the right direction, here are details about how our events are structured:

2022.01.22 21:07 tootsybae Migraine or tension headache?
I've had migraines before and they were always on my right side of my head by my eyebrow. I had all the classic symptoms of nausea, sensitivity to light, sound, smells. I couldn't function at all with the migraine and I'd have to lay down in a dark room. Luckily they have gone away.
Now I'm getting some other type of pain. It started in the right side of my neck and I used to be able to control it with heating cream which made me think tension. And it was only pain no other symptoms. Now the pain has moved further up the back of my head still on the right side and heating cream no longer controls the pain. The intensity of the pain reminds me of a migraine but I have no other symptoms but pain. The pain is so bad I can't function which makes me think migraine. And even more weird, it seems to mostly happen before my period. Although I do wake up with the headaches sometimes and have gotten them while working due to stress. Ive been waiting on my medical insurance papers i hope to make an appointment soon to see somebody but I just wanted to see if I could get opinions on it.

2022.01.22 21:07 TheRoyalDon People on Reddit and the internet in general be annoying
Like people would legitimately go out of their way to annoy you. Whether it be repeating/mocking something you posted, going out of their way to be spiteful, rude and condescending, or they'll go out of their way just to say an opposing view, of to discredit what you have to say.
Everything is an argument. Everything is a joke to people. Like I understand it's reddit and I understand it's the internet, it's not important or fr, but still these people just push every button you have.
And the thing is, they think the shit is cute. They think it's funny. And then they get circle jerked and patted on the back for it.
For example I made a post saying something people do/say is stupid and the majority of comments are of people just repeating what I said is stupid back. Someone even going as far as to post it in every other comment I made on the post and even on other posts I made. Like honestly, who does some shit like that but a straight lame? Making people angry isn't funny. Annoying people isn't funny. Going around doing it excessively isn't funny. It isn't cute, admirable or cool either. Yet these people get patted on the back and loved for it. That's this Reddit culture; to annoy people and think it's cute.
A lot of people just lack socialization so they think it's cute being like this. Some people just genuinely think being someone people dislike is a good thing.
Again I know it's the internet and I wouldn't think anything different would happen, but that doesn't mean the whole culture that supports this and does this is just in the correct.
It is what it is. It's reddit. And it's unfortunate this kind of thing is loved and supported so much. But reddit be on some weird shit. A lot of nerdy shit. And that's nothing against nerds cuz they cool and make the world happen, but the internet nerds that do things like this probably aren't the same kind to do so.
I dint hate it. I'm not necessarily that annoyed by it. It doesn't mean that much. I just like making rants people could relate to. But the trolling on here isn't cute or admirable, idk why people think it is.

2022.01.22 21:07 ArthurDrakoni The Ministry of Space presents a tantalizing glimpse into an alternate manned British Space Program. This is my review.
Straight history comics are still relatively rare in the world of comics. By straight alternate history, I meaning ones that don’t involve stuff like aliens, the supernatural, or time travel. Don’t get me wrong, you can tell some great stories using those things. In the world of alternate history, we call such things alien space bats stories. Still, there is something to be said for pure alternate history.
Few though they are, there are some gems if you know where to look for them. Case in point, The Ministry of Space. It is set in a world where the British army captured German rocket scientists and brought them back to Britain following World War II. The British government used a black budget to establish a manned space program. We follow an assortment of snapshots of various moments within the history of this alternate British Space Program. We also get flash forwards to 2001, where the Truth about the black budget is threatening to leak.
I absolutely loved this comic, and I’m not the only one. The Ministry of Space is, thus far, the only comic book to win the Sidewise Award for Alternate History. The Sidewise is an annual award that recognizes excellence in alternate history fiction. It is like the Eisners or the Hugos, but for alternate history.
The artwork is absolutely gorgeous; I could just look at it all day. Everything is very sleek and Jet Age in design. Many of the vehicles and missions seen in the comic are based on actual proposals by scientists such as Wernher von Braun. It is mentioned that Von Braun was among the scientists that the British captured, so this isn't all that surprising. The technology really embodies that optimistic can-do attitude you see in a lot of science fiction from the 1950s and 1960s.
The comic is only three issues long, which is a same. I wish it had been longer and that we’d gotten a more detailed look at the alternate British Space Program. Because what we do get to see is utterly fascinating and I’d love to know and see more. Now, many of you up on your history are probably wondering how the post-war British government had the money to pay for a space program. Oh, don’t worry, there is a, rather dark, explanation. But telling more would be spoilers.
Let me give you a few highlights of this alternate British Space Program: breaking the sound barrier (1946), first satellite (1948), first manned spaceflight (1950), first space station (construction from 1953-1956), first mission to the Moon (1957), and first mission to Mars (1969).
So yeah, though it is short and I wish it had been longer, I still love The Ministry of Space. I love alternate histories about manned space flight, and this one provided a very fun premise.
Have you read The Ministry of Space? If so, what did you think?

The month came and went In the blink of eye, Summer days and nights Passing me by like seconds— Paving the way for the dead of Winter,
But, under the chill of November winds, A boy appeared Dawning the same name as that summer month— surrounding me in a similar, comforting, warmth.
Though unfortunately— Just like his namesake, my time with him passed me by, And in the blink of an eye He was gone.
