If you’re struggling with harder zones studies. You can change the difficulties and play solo. Great for no howls, get to third zone without X etc.

2022.01.25 20:38 TheNewLiberals On Starting a Podcast: Unsolicited Advice From a Colleague

Hey podcasting!
There is a common and extremely understandable "theme" among a lot of the posts here - one I deeply relate to. I wanted to take a moment and offer my perspective after putting about 18 months into my show.
Take from this post anything that helps you, and disregard anything you feel is useless. YMMV.
So - this "theme." It manifests itself in the form of several questions that are regularly posted here. They may look like different questions but they all share the same emotional through-line: "How can I work up the courage to finally start?"
"What equipment should I get?"
"Where can I find a co-host?"
"What should the topic of my show be?"
"What should I name my podcast?"
And so on.
This is not a critique of posts like this - they're rooted in a very real and relatable fear. One I had before I started my own podcast, and one I have every single time I publish a new episode:
"Is anybody gonna like this f***ing thing?"
Let me answer this question as best I can:
This is the wrong question to ask. And you will never stop asking it, at least if you're anything like me. Your show could have 10,000 downloads per episode (ah, to dream!) and you will still be doubting yourself. I doubt myself every damn day, and my numbers are nowhere near that high.
Here's the right question to ask:
"Do I want to do this activity for months, even years of my life, regardless of how good or bad I am at it?"
Podcasting - like many things - is a game of attrition. Over half of all podcasts never make it past Episode 14. Two things to note about that:
1.) Those who stopped podcasting before Episode 14 did not fail. They only stopped. Big difference.
2.) Those who continued recording after Episode 14 simply realized that liked it enough to keep going.
The key is to reframe how you think about podcasting. Don't think about it in terms of success or failure - at least not this early. You'll only get in your own way. Think about it in terms of:

Don't worry about your equipment at the beginning. Understand that - if you're anything like me - your overthinking about the technical aspects is a way to keep yourself from confronting the real issue: A fear of starting.
Here's what I started with: Blue Yeti USB Microphone. $99. Plugged right into my laptop. Pair that puppy with a decent pair of affordable headphones and you're off to the races.
Only once I realized that I was in this for the long-haul did I "splurge" and upgrade to a more premium setup. After a year and a half and 45 episodes. But I splurged for me - the audience thought the audio quality was already good! Don't overthink.
Give yourself permission to stop if you're not enjoying it. Podcasting should be something you that adds value to your life. Yes, it's going to be work - I spend 20-30 hours of my time per episode, and it used to be a lot more before I got some editing help around episode 30. But the work adds value to my life. I get a lot out of it- emotionally, mentally - that makes the hours "worth it." But this isn't my first podcast! My previous one wasn't worth it. So I stopped (before Episode 14)! I didn't fail.
Give yourself permission to change your mind. I'm changing the name and theme of my show in February. 45 EPISODES IN! But it was either that, or stop the podcast entirely. Once I was kind enough to myself to realize that a pivot isn't failure, I was all-in on the change. The only person you truly "owe anything" to (assuming you're not being paid, etc.) is yourself. I had to get out of my own way, and realize that if changing direction kept the podcast alive and kept me engaged, that was a win, not a loss.
Embrace the inherent freedom of a small audience. This ties directly to the previous three points. The Top 50% of podcasts average 28 downloads (in the first seven days). The Top 10% of podcasts average under 300 downloads in the first week. The Top 1%(!!!) of podcasts average under 4,300 listeners in that same period. In the grand scope of things, NO ONE IS LISTENING to you. This means you can:
And 99.9999999% of the world will never know it. Experiment. Play. Make mistakes. Make HUGE mistakes! No one is listening!
If your show does get "big," (remember how many listeners the Top 1% of podcasts get!) you'll probably be over 100 episodes in and very few people will ever go back and listen to your early stuff. And guess what - if they ever do go back and listen, you'll be in good company! Most (non-corporate) podcasts start off pretty rough. But that's how they were able to improve.
So that's my little rant. In some ways I'm writing this post to myself, because I have to continuously be reminded that it's ok to Not Be Perfect. It's even ok to not be Very Good. What I try and tell myself every day is that - pound for pound - when it comes to podcasting the juice is worth the squeeze. There are many activities I've tried in my life that weren't, and I stopped doing them. I didn't fail. I stopped.
To wrap this up:
Don't worry too much about your equipment.
Don't worry too much about your title.
Don't worry too much about your topic.
Don't worry too much about anything, really.
Just start. And if you're not having fun, just stop. Maybe podcasting isn't for you. Or maybe it is.
There's only one way to find out.

2022.01.25 20:38 blackingcelebrities 32[M4F] Cucking her Simps

All characters are 18+ with no exceptions
Their hearts collectively sank when she went live. They should have seen the signs. Streaming on a private website, not YouTube or Twitch, with the only advertising being " Come watch me change all our lives". She sat on this ebony God's lap, unable to keep her hands to herself. He was gorgeous and she looked like a porn star in her lingerie. Finally, as the clock hit zero, she looked into the camera. "This is Dwayne. He's going to help me show you all what I really think of you"
Looking to play out a scene where an internet celebrity (or any celebrity really) films a livestream cucking her fans with a dominant BBC. Please have some ladies in mind but of you're struggling, I do have a list of my own. Priority,of course, goes to any real celebrities.

2022.01.25 20:38 ygkaThemainman SeetheBison.ca

An interactive American Bison-themed web presentation. Especially about how bison tie into plains First Nations environmental sustainability principles/worldviews (ex. metaphors surrounding the Medicine Wheel)
Here is an excerpt from the presentation:
"The 'Canadian Encyclopedia' website says [before European settlement] 'with all 30 million [bison] lined up, they would have gone around the equator about 1.3 times.' This unencumbered abundance was a direct result of inherent plains Aboriginal sustainability principles (Siksika, Cree, Apache, and more). Harmony, and not commodity, defines this worldview’s interconnection with all of creation or the natural world. Chief Seattle (1786–1866) says it best, 'Humans merely share the earth, we can only protect the land not own it' and that 'The earth does not belong to [us]. [We] belong to the earth.'"

2022.01.25 20:38 SpeederX Girl keep rejecting me but then complain about the guys they choose to pick

Hi, 100% this post from the title will make me look like a pretentious kid in the best case scenario.
I am currently following a therapy since 1 year and half and it's helping me a lot about being more self-confident and also to get through rejection and feeling left behind. Basically that's what it is about. I can rant about the fact i keep getting to know girls that simply don't even consider me more than a friend even though they like to hang out with me, i cheer them about and we can talk about anything.
It's like they are expecting me to give them butterflies or idk. I just feel like it's pretty much nonsense, just the fact is that they don't find me attractice from a physical point of view. I have gone through diet, for health reasons and it helped also that my confidence. But now i feel like it simply doesn't matter it's just sad.
How do you guys get over rejection? What are your advice about trying to get the best out of it, if there's any? How can one feel still desirable after you get rejected so many times?
It's really sad for me. I am trying to just stick to my routine schedule: work, sleep, hanging with friends and playing video games. But i don't know, i just feel like this will just happen and happen over and over again. I had relationship, but overtime i feel like it's getting more difficult, and people get a lot more pretentious, less spontaneous. I understand that people want to avoid exposing and being more closed. But it doesn't help to know someone. On the other hand, girls younger than me, are just not that close but often i can see i am not acting like a jerk. I really see them chose toxic guys and then complain about it, with me, and then keep going with them.
I am getting through the feel of being alone and feeling bad for it, but still i would just like to find someone that appreciates me and understand my value. Why that seems so hard? I feel like there's a crazy competition about getting the good ones, and at some point there's just people getting out of toxic relationship that are not spontaneous anymore, nor interested into having a unbiased one. They start complaining about stuff they do not want to work on, like problem they had in past relationship.
Maybe i just need some cheer up, but, is it really it? Prolly i am sad and i see all gray because of that.
