2021.12.03 19:50 Vepps MMW: Automation of the medical field in the next decades will make psychiatry the most profitable branch of medicine for human practitioners.
Automation or remote practice will slash prices and put a huge chunk of doctors out of business. With the possible exception of psychiatrists.
While a majority of medical fields with more "objective" goals (like plastic surgery, orthopedy, or other physical specializations) will be replaced by AI or cheap outsourced labor, psychiatrists will thrive because of people willing to pay a premium for face-to-face interaction and therapy with a real human being.

2021.12.03 19:50 navseegda Is it possible to get an MS (Electrical Engineering) without a STEM undergrad?
So currently im working as a software engineer. Im self taught. Pissed that I figured things out late senior year of my business undergrad, but better late than never. I have experience in C++/C, python, JS/html/css and my previous job was working in a Data center (also self-taught in networking/cybersecurity).
My goal is to be an embedded systems engineer. Im motivated af, but the truth is, is that i dont want to have to get another bachelors. And I shouldnt have to. I know my data structures/algorithms, C++, and discrete math. But im assuming I need a way to get that on paper right?
Ive looked at NYU's Tandon Bridge program that bascially teaches you(and tests you) C++/data structures/ disctrete math and then if you do well gives you a chance at getting accepted for a masters with either them or their partner schools, but Im more interested in NJIT's masters programs...especially the fact that they have a GIANT Maker Space is one of the reasons I want to apply. Im not sure If NJIT will take students from the Bridge program.
So my question is, does anyone have experience or know anyone that was accepted by NJIT that did not have a STEM undergrad? Maybe they took EDX courses? Maybe they even did NYU's Bridge?

2021.12.03 19:50 godsknowledge Sidekick - The fastest browser built for work
| Disclaimer: This is a referral.|
Recently, I looked into numerous apps.
Until recently, I used Opera (because of the UI). Chrome wasn't an option because it took too much CPU, and Safari is just as bad as Internet Explorer.
So, I found a browser called 'Sidekick'.
I was surprised by the speed because it was even faster than Opera.
And since I spend most of my time in front of the screen, it's optimal because it already has many apps included. I don't have to install WhatsApp, Discord, Teams or Outlook on my Mac because I could just use the built-in interface in the browser.
One thing, that's a bit annoying, is that the free version only allows 5 apps in the sidebar.
However, they'll give out a forever-free version if one invites 20 friends who try out the new browser.
So, if you're interested in a new browser which is better than all the others out there, please give it a try here: https://join.meetsidekick.com/yaaib
I don't regret using it.
One of the best life choices I made (aside from buying a Mac)

Are there others?

2021.12.03 19:50 knort4 Can An American Citizen Order a Death Certificate of Someone Who Died In Mexico?
I'm interested in ordering a death certificate of someone who died in 2006 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.
Can a death certificate--of someone who died in Mexico--be requested and ordered by someone who lives in the US?
Is there restricted access there where only next-of-kin or family members can order the death certificate?
Is there a way for me to find out if the decedent had a will that was processed at a probate court?
