This will detect any anomalies in the ground below and catch the problem before it becomes a devastating sinkhole.\n\n•Even if the hole seems to be small, keep in mind that it might go down deep into the ground. Many sinkholes appear to be small from above, but go down 15-20 feet. Stepping into a sinkhole, in that scenario, is one dangerous bet you’re making with your life!\n\n•Call a professional used to dealing with sinkholes, like Concrete Visions, immediately. 2021.11.28 06:04 Name2522 When people talk about the suffering it took great people to succeed…
… it included boredom.
When I was a kid, I’d read a lot of biographies and basically learned the age old lesson, suffering leads to creativity and it is often those who suffer the most who make the innovations that change the world.
What I didn’t understand then that I know now is that requires being comfortable with being bored. And being lonely sometimes. These are sufferings as real as any other kind… but in the face of them, we get more creative. If you chug a 12 pack down each time you’re bored and lonely, you’ll never make the changes that allow you to fix the problem sober.
I passed a big test 3 weeks ago and I’ve had a bit of ennui because now I don’t have a replacement task to fill my lonely weekends. First weekend was Hell. Second, I invented a few things to do. This week, I’m almost filling the time as seamlessly as a weekday. The brain adapts if you let it.

2021.11.28 06:04 bertiebastard What's the stupidest thing you have purchased whilst drunk?
2021.11.28 06:04 foreveryourcupcake Promise me
There is no bigger pain in the world than loving someone with all your heart and them saying they dont love you back. That they love someone else. That their relationship with that other person is better than with you. That ever confessing or experiencing your love was a mistake. That the little gestures of love they showed you were just irrational whims. There is no bigger pain than knowing in your heart that they are the love of your life, your soulmate, and for them to say… they have a person already. There is no bigger pain than saying the I’ve you have is pure and whole and the best love you’ve ever experienced and for the other person to say: “it’s pretty good… I don’t know if it’s the best, but it’s up there.” This is especially painful when you remember that being with this person helped you feel a new type of wholeness you had never felt. When your moments with them were so precious and to feel their skin feels so amazing that you can’t go an instant without touching them. This is painful when you know what you had with them was so pure that it was the love of a lifetime. It was pure. It was the truest, purest, most perfect essence of what love is. For all time. Just like you, our love was perfect. You are perfect for me. And you say I’m not perfect for you. When I ask to spend time with you, you say sometimes ten minutes is too much to ask for. But what I wouldn’t give to spend my lifetime with you.
So I’m crying my eyes out at two in the morning. Pleading my pain away. Praying to you. Praying to God. If God is love… then He resides in our love. The love you deny…
I hope to sleep for centuries, so I may not know more about what it means to live without my truest love. Or to be experiencing this cruelest unrequitedness. Or cruelest denial. Or cruelest abandonment. I hope I may not know what it’s like to be hurt by you more than I already am.
How can the person I love most in the world not love me back? How can it be so unreciprocated? The pain is horribly potent. Why am I so unfit to be loved, even by the person who was made for me? My other half….? How am I so deficient that the love you once had has disappeared so quickly? Why am I so disposable? Why am I worth so little?
I miss you like I miss my own skin. You could never miss me as much as I miss you. I don’t even know if you miss me at all, seeing how you’ve renounced imagining me with you… me being intimate with you... me holding you to sleep.
This is an unbearable pain that you will never feel. I will never let you experience this. Neither will anyone else. And I bet you’re glad. You should be… because this is the worst pain I could feel. And it is the worst pain I’ve ever felt. It’s why it’s so unforgivable to me. It’s why I have acted so terribly to you.
I prostrate myself knowing the morning won’t bring relief. The only thing I can muster is a desperate little prayer. A prayer, in the night, to you, asking you to imagine our little dream… to meet me in your imagination. To love me there… to remember me there… to kiss and hold me there… Because that’s all we ever ever ever had. Please. Your imagination is the only true freedom you have. Please meet me there.
I pray to you tonight, asking for you to love me despite everything. Asking you to swear that when we get married in heaven I will never have to miss you again. That in our next life, where we can be our truest selves unencumbered, I will never have to miss you or cry for you or be torn from loving you. Swear that I will never know this pain in our next lives — that you will never crush me then like you have now. That your love will never grow cold or lie buried beneath ugly compromises. That circumstance will never hinder us again. Because the pain in this life is unbearable and it’s so hard. More than you can ever imagine because you are not in this position. And I am angry and upset and sad and outraged and jealous and every other negative feeling you can think of. I keep imagining you and them having sex and you preferring to spend time with them a million times over me because you love them and not me. I keep imagining you and them being passionate lovers like you and I were. You declaring your love to them in the same passion you did with me. I imagine them getting to spend every night and morning by your side and being able to have passionate sex. Fuck them and fuck you. More than you can imagine I feel these awful feelings and I am hurt by this horrid pain of unrequited love. It’s my most horrible pain because your love is the only love that is true. I am also hurt by the sure and certain knowledge that I miss you more than you miss me. And you know this is true. I’m sorry if this letter is not the kindest. as perfect as I wish I could be to you, I’m still a human who is very hurt by the person they love most in the world.
