2021.12.06 02:46 Cristy576 Problem with BSOD CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

In some games, I keep getting this BSOD: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. I have no idea how it could be fixed but it seems to be happening in certain games. For example, I can play Mordhau for hours on end without any issue but (and this is quite ironic) playing PC Building Simulator makes my PC BSOD a lot more frequently throughout the day. It's really strange and all I know is that this BSOD is CPU related but i've never messed with any overclocking since the 11th gen itself already is running hot enough and even then I probably wouldn't care enough to do it... Saying that though I don't know where the issue is specifically or where I should start looking that would tell me. Thanks in advance, I'll leave my build details below.
My rig:
MB: ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-F GAMING WIFI CPU: Intel I7 11700K @ stock COOLER: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax. w/ both fans installed, 1 slightly raised for ram clearance GPU: ZOTAC RTX 2060 AMP! Edition @ stock PSU: Corsair Vengeance 550M RAM: ADATA XPG Flame 2x8GB @ 3000 CASE: Aerocool Aero-1000

2021.12.06 02:46 catboycollector Urge to cut all ties

I run a discord server, play in a dnd group, have multiple familial obligations, and have several active social media accounts that I spend maybe ~6 hours a day keeping up to date with. I've made several friends in the communities I'm involved with, but none of my friendships feel like anything other than a surface level appreciation for each other's existence. Nonetheless, I am still roped into spending several hours a day maintaining all of my relationships and trying to be a supportive friend and it has become completely exhausting. Almost no one knows I suffer from BPD and the ones that do know are not educated about my symptoms. I frequently miss spending time alone because I've had to sacrifice so much self care for my other obligations and it's been very depressing for me. I feel like I'm on a constant rollercoaster for people I'm not even that close to, as they often say things that throw me completely off track and spend hours or days reeling over their words. Once I'm finally recovered, it's time to reel again over the next thing.
I need some perspective on whether this is normal and healthy when trying to be more social or if it's okay for me to step back, possibly handing my server off and closing my social media accounts. I'm absolutely exhausted and I miss spending time with my family and doing things I enjoy. It may seem self-isolating, but most my bpd symptoms go away when I'm focusing on self care and family rather than lots of friendships that don't really go anywhere. Please help
TL;DR communities I'm in are exhausting and I'm not sure if I should leave or try to stick it out

Trees with trunks in the 3"-5" diameter range would be perfect! And Ive been on the lookout for a nice large rosemary specimen. I can also buy the trees off anyone if I end up removing them!

2021.12.06 02:46 TacoTerra [L] [23M] Who cares if one more light goes out in the sky of a million stars?

Not many people, apparently. So far, everyone's more interested in what I'll leave behind for them rather than telling me not to lmao. I've been told "I'm here for you if you want to talk", only to then be called a "really depressing person who spreads it to others".
I mean, shit, it isn't like I want to be this way or wallow in my depression, I just have some low times, that's all. I'm really trying my best to fight it, and I'm doing it all alone because I don't have any close friends, but uh, so far not going so poggers.
Anybody down for a depression/suicidal call or chat tonight? Or like, hmu to play some Terraria or war thunder or something idk.

TLDR Which puts so you like and why would you be such 🐻🌈?

2021.12.06 02:46 ItsKensterrr As a Westerner, the Eastern Influences On Dragons Is Amazing

Short post, but I'm just so blown away by it. Born and raised in the US, been playing games most of my life. Some of those that have had the biggest impact on my perception of fantasy were EverQuest and World of Warcraft. I've played FFXIV casually off and on for the past few years but it's my main game, and the way this game has shaken up my perception and understanding of fantastical creatures such as dragons is just so cool to me. Has anyone else had similar experiences with any cultural aspects of FFXIV?

2021.12.06 02:46 Mujeebmughal07 6 Things to avoid that break the momentum of your success Journey

Success doesn’t happen overnight. You need to work for it and work continuously. Eventually, you will build up enough momentum to keep moving forward and reach new heights. However, there are a few things that will break this momentum and force you to start all over again.

  1. Don’t push things to later If you can do it right now
Procrastination is an incredibly common issue, and we all face it from time to time. But making it a habit can be very dangerous. When we push things off until tomorrow, that means that our schedule for the next day needs to be modified. Things we procrastinate on push other things off for later and create a cycle of always having to catch up with whatever we didn’t do yesterday.
Try to find time to do things today, especially those that can be done quickly. When you have some spare time, consider what you can do and try to complete tasks ahead of schedule. It will free a lot of time for the next day and create a virtuous cycle, not a vicious one, allowing you to add more tasks for the next day.
  1. Do not break your flow
When you start working, you can get in “the zone.” You will be focused and working well. Once we get this flow state, we can do our best, but to reach this state of flow, we need to give it time. Flow comes when we are able to dedicate uninterrupted time to the work we are doing and when we allow ourselves to focus fully on one thing, without other worries to distract us.
When you break this flow, you lose a lot of productivity, especially as it takes time for us to get focused again on whatever we were doing. This means that you should try to schedule your work in sessions that give you the chance to focus. Try to take it one thing at a time and put your attention on a single objective. Avoid breaking your flow to get the best results.
  1. Don’t sit for too long if it’s not getting results
On the other side of the flow state, we can feel a deep frustration when we are focused on a problem and no solution is presenting itself. It might seem logical to force ourselves to sit until we can find a solution, but actually, taking a break is a better idea. Our brains operate in two ways: diffuse and focused. When we allow it to shift between these two modes, we can solve problems more effectively and also be more creative.
Taking a break will help you become more productive and allow you to tackle issues better. Also, working without breaks will leave you more fatigued and reduce your productivity as a result. Take small breaks that don’t engage your brain too much – take a walk, do the dishes, play with your pet.
All these activities and more can help you suddenly see the problem from a different perspective, and it will often feel as if the answer just popped into your mind.
  1. Start writing things down
You will remember a lot less than you expect. When you write things down, you guarantee that you will actually remember things.
It’s always a good idea, not just because it allows you to remember, but also because it helps you take new perspectives on the problems and goals you face. Writing things down frees your brain to focus on tasks other than remembering, so write down lists, goals, plans, and more.
  1. Neglecting your health?
It can feel reasonable to pull an all-nighter or two to get work done, or to skip lunch to keep working. However, eventually, neglecting your physical and emotional health is likely to hit you hard.
Health is the foundation that allows us to build success, and when we undermine it for short-term goals, we are sabotaging our success journey. Prioritize your sleep and nutrition, your exercise and well-being, and it will help you become much more productive eventually.
  1. Working alone?
Even solo projects can improve with feedback from other people. Don’t work alone or withdraw yourself from society, instead, seek communities of like-minded individuals who will offer you valuable insights and support.
Seek out networks of people who can help in unexpected ways, and success often comes thanks to the connections you make and all the different kinds of support you can receive.
