2021.12.01 14:46 NormieInTheMaking How can you utilize EDA info in classification problems?
Like, I'm doing a Churn Prediction for Telco domain and I've discovered most of the churners were on "Month-to-Month" contract rather than yearly. Now how can I use this info to improve the accuracy of my ML model? For example, can I give weights on different contract types when encoding them? Sorry, if that's stupid, I'm relatively new to ML. Thanks in advance guys!

2021.12.01 14:46 Sensitive-Leek4360 Question
Hi, I only play this game for fun and don’t know a lot about it. I have 218 million coins as I’m a player in real life and have a massive advantage over most players. I checked and 3 million coins costs 90 British pounds on the app. Is there anyway I can sell my coins? I’m shocked I basically have 6 grands worth of coins and regularly play 100 quid games… lol

2021.12.01 14:46 marshmahlow Actual Proof of Declining Device Protection and Still Added by Verizon
So, I've paid for this "Verizon Device Protection" for about 4 years. Work pays the bill, I just print out the receipt and don't ever take another glance. It wasn't until I was looking to upgrade my phone that I saw this sneaky add-on. I've been paying $12-17 a month for FOUR YEARS for a service I never signed up for.
Although I know I didn't sign up for this four years ago, I had no proof that Verizon would add this option on their own, without their customer's approval (other than the massive amount of posts here of people pointing it out anecdotally), so I figured I was s--- out of luck. Well, thank you Verizon, for providing proof to me that you do indeed do this.
After ordering my new phone (the Pixel 6 Pro) on October 19, I specifically remembered hitting the "Decline Device Protection" button. I even took a screen shot of my declining it because of my experience over the past 4 years! Guess what I found on my bill this month? Verizon had added it back. The best part is that I don't even need the stupid screen shot because Verizon sent me a receipt that specifically states that I declined the protection.
Not only do I want my bill fixed this month, I want years of my money back from shady practices from Verizon.
I added an image (removed the sensitive information) of what I signed up for (and declined) versus what my most recent bill has. https://imgur.com/a/RQVndi5

2021.12.01 14:46 Mick_Tz I need your help
Hi everyone, I hope this is the right sub. As the title say, I need your help. I have to find out a “famous” artwork where there are “a lot” of people but they have to be “identical”, like stickman or something else. I don't know if I've made myself clear. The concept must be that we are all the same. Thank you so much for your help guys. Have a great day

2021.12.01 14:46 AffectionateSize552 Wait, wait -- is that Musk SINGING at a BENEFIT concert?!
Watching a YouTube video of a 2004 Vote For Change concert finale, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band playing "(What's So Funny "Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding," and joining in are John Fogerty, the Dixie Chicks, Jackson Browne, Eddie Vedder, Bonnie Raitt, and -- wait, is that ELON MUSK?! Is his ego so big that he thinks he belongs onstage with all of those actual MUSICIANS?! I mean -- oh wait it's Dave Matthews. Dave Matthews. not Elon Musk. False alarm. Nevermind. TIL Dave Matthews was born in South Africa.

2021.12.01 14:46 Intrepid_Flower_188 What’s the point
Day 86 and feeling down. I’ve realized that most of the people in my life either didn’t care about me or used me for one reason or another. I used booze to avoid these feelings and thoughts but now it’s much more clear. I find it very difficult to trust people as everyone I thought I could trust later proved me wrong. My niceness is always taken for weakness and i’ve noticed my nicer side dwindling in order to stand up for myself and speak my opinion. I’m becoming an asshole but I dont care because i’m done being a pawn in other peoples lives.

2021.12.01 14:46 Throwaway28404028 Fiance (M32), currently grieving the death of his grandmother, expressed doubts about our realtionship last night and I'm finding it hard to comfort him.
My (F33) fiance's grandmother died last week and he has been pretty torn up about it. My grandma died this past July so I know what he's going through. He bottles his emotions, so him being this low has been bringing to the surface everything he feels crappy about in life.
Last night I got home from work and he was feeling pretty low. I talked to him for about an hour and none of it was about his grandmother. Most of it was about us. He was saying that he loves me, but he feels like we hold each other back from achieving our goals in life, and he wants me to become more independent. When I asked him to elaborate on what said, he would just say "I don't know" in a sad way. He said he knew talking about it would make me upset. I kept saying things like where is this coming from, are you saying you don't want to be together, and would just get ambivalent responses.
Grief turns your mind and can make you say strange things but he said he's been thinking about this since before the death.
I want to comfort him because his grandmother just died. But I'm finding it really hard to do that when he just dropped this bombshell on me. It now has me questioning our relationship and what I would do if I have to live on my own. If I can't even help him in a time of crisis maybe we're not meant to be together anyway.
