Just curious as to whether or not everyone's shipments send/receive are moving east/west. Are there even any functioning routes?
My Purolator and UPS have been in "delayed by natural disaster" since the initial hit but just wondering if it's luck of the draw or if it's toolsdown at distribution centres / hubs.

2021.11.30 14:35 ashleylashun Need advice about a car
So I have an old 2002 chevy trailblazer LS. It has over 189,000 miles (idk how accurate this is). I bought it used in 2015 when it had about 169,000 miles. It's had regular wear and tear over the years, but now it has gone down hill a lot and I'm not able to drive it. It only goes up to 15 miles per hour. I took it to a mechanic and he said it was the timing belt. He didnt give me a price but said it wasn't worth fixing, but didnt give me an actual price. I partly wanna get it fixed because I'm not in a great place to make car payments. Another option is to get another used car from a buy here pay here place, but I got so lucky with this one, I'm scared the next used car I buy will be a lemon. Then the last option is getting a new or used car from a dealership. I was gonna save up about $4000 for a down payment and go to a credit union. My credit isn't great, 660 and I dont have many accounts on it. So my payments would be around $350-$400. I'm just concerned about the payments. What do you all suggest?

2021.11.30 14:35 MO_BO_09 What's the best investment you've made?
I bought a pair of high end headphones this black friday weekend. It has pretty good noise canceling, it literally silences bus engines and my school hallways (doesn't make it silent but it's very quiet). On top of all that, the bass fucking slaps. I love rock music and I love vibing to it especially when I can hear the bass clearly.
Sony WH-1000XM3 is the one I bought in case you were wondering. The xm4 is way better but I can't afford it, it's much more expensive. I did use my own money and I think it was worth buying since I spend 90% of my time listening to music lol.

2021.11.30 14:35 dallasmorningnews UT Southwestern to pay millions for lax opioid oversight
From reporter Sue Ambrose:
UT Southwestern Medical Center must pay $4.5 million for failing to properly guard dangerous medications, including fentanyl that two nurses overdosed on inside one of its hospitals.
The penalty, imposed by federal law enforcement officials, is the second highest of its kind against a hospital nationwide, and the biggest in Texas, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
A Dallas Morning News investigation in 2018 found the nurses died from fentanyl likely intended for patients. Our reporting triggered a federal hospital inspection and a separate probe by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Texas.

For those who've had both a watchpat study and a PSG study, how accurate was the watchpat to the PSG?
Some websites claim 89% accuracy compared to PSG, but isn't that too high?

2021.11.30 14:35 FeitanBruh Comrades.. I failed.
I was a big Itto hyper since day one. Following every leak/crumb about him. The design and character of this guy was everyting I wanted from a character. But when I saw he needs a geo team to be good, I lost my hype a bit. I have no geo characters nor I wanted to make a team with gorou and such. Today, I spent my pity and all wishes to Eula. Got her, she is a damn strong character but I feel really sad about not getting Itto. Just wanted to share. Stay strong. Itto wanters will be Itto havers.

2021.11.30 14:35 Waylos4 Icelandic or Faroese?
I recently fell hard in love with both of these languages. I actually have a deep background involving Germanic languages (aside from English: German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian. I still have a deep understanding of them) but I've never studied Faroese or Icelandic. I'm torn between both.
Well Icelandic has way more native speakers and learning resources, that's for sure. I also love many Icelandic bands and artists, like I'm almost addicted to Icelandic music. I really like the language itself. I connect deeply with Icelandic culture and history.
However, Faroese touched my heart even more deeply. I'm also addicted to Faroese music and I really feel something strong with this language. Also, I'm equally interested in Faroese culture and history.
I'd like to learn both eventually but it's obviously wiser to start with one. It seems both are quite similar so knowing one will considerably help acquire the other.
